off-season rules
We are going to build a winning tradition.
In order for us to do that We must do the little things every day, so we can get better as a team.
Trust and W I N
As with any aspect of our program it all starts with our Trust, Attitude, and Effort Foundation. Trust that the coaches have prepared a workout that will get us to the place we would like to be as a team. Attack each workout with a great attitude. Have fun and improve as an athlete. Put in great effort in everything we do. There is no substitute for hard work. Did you do what your teammates need of you. We will make No Excuses for not getting it done. Hold yourself accountable, and do not let failure become acceptable.
Be on time!
You have 7 minutes from the time the bell rings to let you out of class to be in your lines in the weight room. We will take role based on where you will be lined up. If you aren't there, you are considered absent. That means you should be lined up & ready to work. We have a limited amount of time, and a huge amount to accomplish. It is very important for you to be ready on time. If you can't get ready on time, then you will run instead of being involved in building a championship program.
Wear Proper Clothing
You are expected to suit out every day no matter what. Suiting out consists of:
-
Shorts
-
School related t-shirt
-
Flats with the laces tied (don't come in the weight room not ready to lift)
-
Absolutely no jewelry
If you are not in this attire, you will be considered a non-participant.
Follow Instructions
We have a lot of things to teach you. These things will make you better athletes and dramatically improve your performance on the field. It will be very important for you to listen to instructions.
Have Fun & Work Hard
Come in the weight room with an attitude that you will get better every day. We are building winners, GET ON BOARD.
Clean up your Equipment
We must maintain our facilities. To do this we must take care of our equipment. Players are responsible for racking all of their weights and equipment following each workout. There are no exceptions.
